Rybovich Village Gets Go-Ahead for Now

West Palm Beach is likely to be a step closer to a big change in its skyline.

City planners are recommending the development of Rybovich Village be given the go ahead.  The proposal goes before the city's planning board Tuesday night for a vote.

The 14 acre property along the intracoastal on the city's north end would have one thousand residences in six towers standing as tall as 30 stories each.  The proposal also includes restaurants, office space and docks.

If approved, the plans go to the City Commission for a couple of votes.  The first one would likely happen in February.
