SALLY’S NOTES:  When you click on the recipe, you will notice that in the directions they forgot to add the garlic.  Add the garlic when the onions are about halfway done. You don’t want to burn the garlic ,it turns bitter if you do!
Since the recipe is for 4 and there are just 2 of us, I made the entire batch of sauce and saved half of it for another day.
Going to see how it works with scallops or may just do shrimp again..  Did not want to cook and entire batch with all of the shrimp because I don’t think shrimp taste as good when you reheat it.

I used fresh basil from my herb garden!

Remember when using canned tomatoes, you need to cook them down to get rid of the “canned” taste.

It's funny any time I open a can of anything my cats come running. They think I’m opening cat food or tuna.

I added a little extra garlic.

I never throw away sugar packets.  When a recipe calls for a teaspoon of sugar, I just grab a couple of packets.

Let the sauce simmer a while to remove that canned tomato taste.

The finished product!
