Sally's Recipe Of The Week: Garlic-Soy Chicken Breast

Garlic-Soy Chicken Breast

Here is what you will need.

 3/4 cups soy sauce, 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil,1and 1/2 TBS dark sesame oil 1 TBS lime juice, 2 inches fresh ginger, grated, 2 garlic cloves,grated, 1/4  
cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves, 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin

You will need a meat hammer

 

Cover the chicken breast with plastic wrap and gently pound the breast to about 1/4 inch thick. 

 Combine the rest of the ingredients in a zip lock freezer bag. Mix well.

Place the chicken in the bag and marinate in fridge for an hour. 

I cleaned up my gaget drawer while waiting for chicken. How long do you
think it will stay this neat?
 

Remove chicken from marinade, season with salt and pepper. Lightly oil a
grill, or grill-pan and grill on medium-high heat for about 3 to 4 minutes a side.

I'm a bonehead. After Mo and I ate the chicken I realized I did not take a
photo of the finished dish!  Sorry!
